STAT K9 Training

A friend of mine highly recommended STAT K9 Training. I called to help my friend schedule the training.The owner was extremely rude when I told her I tried to reach out for several times. I called her and emailed her with information last year in December, never really heard back from her. Called her again and figured will give it another try this morning since my friend said this place is amazing. The lady was rude and hung up on me. Tried to call her again. Nope. So disappointed!!

We were so pleased with the care and training that our dog, Archie, received from Tina. Her knowledge and skill set was exactly what he needed! He was never able to go on walks, but after board and train with Tina, he can walk like a champ! Since training with Tina, we finally feel like Archie has skills to use to live a calmer and less anxious life. She was also so helpful in not just training Archie, but training us as his owners as well. We needed to shift our mindset and gain new skills, along side our dog, in order for us to help him be successful. Tina made sure to answer any and all of our questions and we really appreciated the daily updates that she provided so that we could see him while he was away, but also so that we could see the kinds of things that he was learning and working on. We highly recommend Tina and STAT K9 Training!

Tina is an excellent trainer that you can absolutely trust with your dogs. Our two dogs are amazingly sweet, but they started to develop aggression on leash and defensive behaviors in the home as we all became more isolated during the pandemic. We tried everything we could think of, but we couldn't resolve the problem on our own. We reached out to Tina for help and it was the best decision we could've made. After two days, Tina was able to understand our dogs' personalities and give them the help and attention they needed to be more calm and confident in themselves. Her daily videos were very informational, as it was great to see their day to day routine. We were able to see the care that she provided Flash and Rocket during their time with her as well as learn how to better support and work with them ourselves. Her work with them is truly lifechanging for us and we will always be grateful.

I have a 3 year old pit bull name Ryder . He is a very loving family dog but he was not able to enjoying his life to the fullest . Ryder would be aggressive towards people and other pets that he didn’t feel secure with . After many attempts to try and train him ourselves we had to surrender and hand him over to an expert . Did my research and found Playful Paws . Ryder stayed 3 weeks with his trainer . My family was able to see his progression every day through live video . While seeing the videos there was lots of information thrown our way on exactly how the training was taking place at that moment. This was a lot of help .Tina (trainer) was absolutely a pleasure to work with . She was very much on point with her training . She was able to read the Ryder very well and new exactly what he needed .He is home now and We see such a huge difference in the respect that Ryder gives us and his all of his surrounding s. The best thing is that I would worry so much that Ryder would one day hurt my cat when I wasn’t looking because of his aggressive behavior…. Now today Ryder is able to be in the same room with my cat without having anything to worry me . Thank you Playful Paws for all the hard work ! I will always recommend you to anyone who’s loves there dog enough to let them become the best he or she can be !!!!

I’m the owner of two very different, very difficult dogs. Indiana.. a 3 year old bulldog mix was very dog aggressive with horrible leash reactivity. Hilarious with people…. But stubborn and did what she wanted. Jax .. a 4 year old Shar Pei mix was riddled with separation anxiety, and aggressive behavior towards strangers, also leash reactive. We moved from a fenced in yard to a temporary apartment complex… full off all kinds of dogs. My pups bad behavior escalated…. I was constantly in fear of them getting loose and causing injuries to anything in their path. I was becoming terrified to walk them. I couldn’t take them anywhere without some aggressive encounter. I worsened the situation bye not holding them accountable, keeping them close to me … resulting in dogs that could not separate from me , or think for themselves. Everything was a reaction. I couldn’t let people into my home because of how bad they had become. I found Tina and Stat K9 training. I was hesitant… my dogs were not crate trained ( big mistake) and I feared prong collars and ECollars. She very professionally fitted each dog , and instructed me on how to use each tool. They are exactly that. Power steering and power brakes. Each dog was then trained to respond to command, and most importantly… to think for themselves. When challenged… they make the choice to remove themselves and take direction from me quickly when they need a little help thru a stressful time. It’s nothing short of amazing to me. I’m now able to walk both dogs anywhere. Into a store .. park .. playground. They know their job. I’m even able to let them go off leash with instant recall. I can’t recommend, or thank Tina enough. I’ve learned as much as my dogs have … so I’m a better owner, with incredibly better dogs.
