We came to Joseph for boarding training with two dogs with very different eccentricities and needs and were incredibly pleased with his approach and results with both. Joseph showed genuine interest in training our dogs and provided my wife and I the tools necessary to sustain the results. We’ve seen a huge change in the way the dogs interact with us and with others, our walks are more enjoyable, and most importantly the dogs seem to be calmer and happier. Joseph was incredibly communicative throughout the process and still checks in with us to see how the dogs are doing. I would highly recommend Joseph and Starr Dog Behavior to any dog owner - you will not regret it!

As a three dog household with a toddler things are chaotic. When turned to Joseph when things were getting unmanageable. With Joseph’s guidance over the last few months, we have a calmer life. The dogs don’t rush to jump all over guests. Walking all three dogs (even with the stroller) is now possible without physical strain. Joseph worked wonders with the pup that was board/train while we worked with an at home training with the other two. Joseph has been flexible with scheduling and worked to tailor training to our particular families needs and goals. We are certainly seeing the benefits.

I cannot recommend Joseph at Starr Dog Behavior enough for anyone looking to improve their dog’s behavior or build a stronger bond with their furry friend. Within just a few weeks, I noticed a dramatic improvement in Mazy’s behavior. Walks are now enjoyable instead of stressful, and he’s much calmer around other dogs. The change has been life-changing for both of us.
