FirstBarkStarr Dog Behavior has been a blessing to my family and our dogs. Our poodle had a terrible habit of peeing in the house, even after just going outside. Joseph and Happy Paws did amazing work with our super high energy Chihuahua. He helped her get crate trained and taught her how to listen to us. He helped us learn what she needed to burn her energy. She now goes for walks outside without issue, she loves walking on the treadmill and has become a fun, playful, but obedient puppy!!! Joseph is great and identifies the dog issues quickly and doesn’t give up in getting your dog to a better place!!!
I have had 3 training sessions with Joseph and have already seen tremendous improvement with my 1.5y old GSD. His teaching style is unique and you can tell that he is an experienced dog trainer. He has been a joy to work with and always gives honest feedback on what I need to do better as a dog owner to build a better relationship with my dog.

So happy with Happy Paws! My dog is an older (8yr) pit/lab mix and I feel like I’ve tried everything to curb his anxiety- trainers, meds, collars, the works. He has grown out of his more extreme behaviors but was reactive when on leash, stubborn, and generally anxious in a crate and whenever I tried to leave the house. I made an appointment with Joseph and we decided that a bored and train would be the best option for Cas. It absolutely was. Joe was great with Cas but has been even more helpful in teaching me how to lead him and has allowed for a more calm and relaxed state of mind for my dog and me. Cas is now comfortable in a crate, his leash reactivity has almost disappeared and we’re working every day to ensure that he’s happy, healthy, and calm. I will be following up with additional lessons to make sure I’m still on track as a leader for Cas. Would highly recommend Joe!
We had our first Session with Joseph Today. It went exceptionally well. We had looked at other places but Joseph's preliminary phone call made me realize he was going to help us with our dogs anxiety and teach us as well as our dog. When he came for an in home visit, you could tell he was in control and knew what he was talking about. Would definitely recommend.
