My husband and I became first time dog parents to a rambunctious Irish Setter (Henry) in the spring of this year. Knowing we wanted to invest in training, we had been in touch with Star Dog prior to his arrival, as they were highly recommend by a friend of ours. Since then, Henry completed both training programs (on leash and off leash), attends day camp every week and group classes as often as we can. We still can’t believe how far Henry has come and our bond with him is so much stronger because of it. Star Dog is our community and one of Henry’s favorite places to be. Henry used to have severe car sickness, but it stopped after his first time at day camp - go figure! Every single person that has worked with Henry has been a pivotal support during our transition into puppy/dog parenthood. Andy’s experience and wisdom is truly remarkable and him, Genna, and Jarrell have been the most patient and supportive coaches. Christian has managed Henry in the dog park from day 1 and has attributed so much to Henry’s success. Lisa invests in Henry (and all the dogs at Star Dog) like they are her own and we couldn’t be more grateful for that. My husband says that the main thing Star Dog sells is hope, and he’s not wrong! Wish we could give more than 5 stars!
