Star Dog

Turbo absolutely loves it here. The second we turn onto the street, he starts going crazy trying to get out of the car. Seeing how excited he gets when he sees Jarrell speaks volumes about the care and attention he receives while he’s at camp. We also went through the training program Andy recommended, and we’ve continued to see such a huge improvement in Turbo’s behavior. One of the best things about Stardog compared to other dog daycares we’ve attended is their emphasis on well-behaved dogs. Because of that, we never have to worry about Turbo’s safety while he’s there.

StarDog was a Godsend. We did a 5 day training package and now have a puppy that goes on walks without a leash and we have complete verbal control, and he responds to commands around the house more than any dog we have owned. That wouldn’t be the case without Jarrelle and Andy and the rest of the crew. Our dog goes for exercise day camp a couple times a week, we bought a package of passes and the price can’t be beat. Great for socialization and he absolutely loves it and comes home completely worn out. And we can tell he loves the StarDog staff. They also have weekend classes for tune ups, and they are very enjoyable for the dogs and their owners. I can’t recommend this place strongly enough.

I have been a client here for a few months now, and I have always been very pleased. I brought my dog here after hearing about their very reasonably priced training program, and was surprised to see that they also did doggy day-care. Andy was very knowledgeable when I had initially called to ask about their services, and Jarrell has done a great job training my dog. Their prices for doggy day care also would beat out any competitors I had looked up, and I believe that my dog was much happier here and cared for than at her last daycare. Every staff member here is incredibly kind and knowledgeable and pays attention to your dog: for example, I mentioned to Jenna my dog was having stomach issues, and she not only provided me very helpful tips, she also asked one of the other daycare-sitters the next day if they had noticed anything -- without any prompting from me! They keep an eye out for my dog Lily and I know she is in good hands when I leave her with them all day while I am at work. Lily is always tired but happy when I bring her home, she is always ready to plop down for cuddles! She is also always incredibly excited to go in the mornings: whenever she sees me get dressed in my "fancy work clothes" she knows it is time to go to the daycare! Also, I popped a tire yesterday evening, after closing, and Andy and another Star Dog member stayed behind to help me change my tire, again, without me asking. They are a great service, a great locally owned company, run by great people and are amazing for our community.
