Stanfur'd k9 - Dog Training

While trying to train my Goldendoodle puppy, Penny, I quickly became overwhelmed. Potty training was a mystery to me and Penny liked to pull on her leash as we walked. She had a lot of innocent puppy energy. Jorge answered my call right away with a reassuring confidence that left me feeling relieved and ready to entrust him with boarding and training. After Penny’s stay with Jorge, she came back a new dog. She was fully potty and leash trained, was far more confident, and had learned boundaries when it came to greeting other dogs more politely. I highly recommend Jorge’s training to anyone and appreciated his depth of knowledge, kindness, and the wealth of resources he shared me over the weeks during Penny’s stay with him. We have a 1.5 year old high energy labradoodle puppy, Wallie. He’s a sweetie pup, but he would pull on his leash, bark like crazy, and chew on everything. It seemed he would never tire. We just had a baby, so some things were gonna have to change. We took a trip and left Wallie with George for 2 weeks. When we got Wallie back he was calm, incredible on a leash, and barked wayyy less. George gave us pointers, explained some of Wallies quirks to us, and helped set us up for success at home. If you’re thinking about dog training, do it! Wallies a silly boy, and we were worried his silliness would be diminished with training. That was not the case! He’s still a silly sweetie, just not so insane.

My partner and I had recently adopted a rescue jindo who is very stubborn and independent, and George was able to help us with our biggest issues in a matter of minutes. He would show us how to properly interact with our dog and have each of us practice the correct behavior until we felt confident enough to do it on our own. My partner and I both feel much more confident in being able to handle this breed after just an hour with George, and not only that but he was able to see us the same day I reached out. Would highly recommend him to anyone struggling with a stubborn dog!!
