Stands Alone Canine Solutions LLC

We love Stands Alone! Our energetic bird dog attends daycare twice a week and enjoys it. They know how important it is for her breed to get her exercise so they will take her out on a long line to let her run and hunt for her birds. We have also used their boarding services for both our dogs. They were very well taken care of the days we were gone. Our dogs are our family and I trust Stands Alone to take care of them as we do when they are in their care.

I enrolled my dog, Otis, in Stands Alone Canine’s 6-week board and train program based on the training description published on their website. The program states that dogs will learn sit, down, recall, heel, leash work, off-leash/e-collar foundations, and potty training. When I picked Otis up after the 6 weeks, he did not reliably know any of the listed commands and was not potty trained. More concerning, he appeared noticeably underweight compared to when I dropped him off. Based on the lack of training progress and his condition, I stopped payment on the remaining balance and attempted to resolve the matter as a service dispute. Rather than addressing the concerns or pursuing a normal civil resolution, the owner filed a criminal complaint over the stopped payment. I am now having to involve legal counsel to address what should be a straightforward dispute over services not rendered. This experience has been extremely disappointing and stressful. I would strongly encourage anyone considering this program to go anywhere but here.
