Standing Obeytion Dog Training

John is very knowledgeable. He gave my wife and I the tools to train our Yorkie into a dog we can be proud of. The socialization classes were wonderful. Elvis (our Yorkie) can now play nicely with other dogs of all sizes. The classes also has helped him when encountering strangers. He is now calm during our walks when we encounter people and other animals. I highly recommend John for either his private training sessions or any of his other classes. Thanks John.

John spent 3.5 hours with my dogs and me two days ago. I adopted a senior Lab almost five months ago who is basically the perfect dog and a few weeks later, I brought in a stray puppy (about 1 year old), also a Lab, who has dominant tendencies and was not responding to training with the clicker method and positive praise. I love dogs but have never had one so head strong, sometimes mean toward me, energetic and crazy. I was at my wits' end when a friend recommended John saying her parents' experience with him and their dogs was "life changing." I called John and he scheduled to work with us two days later. Within minutes of him entering my home, my puppy ("teenager") started to change. By the end of the 3.5 hours, she was calm and her behavior had improved by leaps and bounds. I expected her bad behavior to return when he left, but much to my delight and amazement, with very little corrective effort on my part, she's a calm and lovable puppy even two days later. I now understand psychology from her point of view and what my role is in order for her to respond positively. I have so much hope for us as a team, my puppy and me, and the three of us as a little family, which includes my sweet senior dog. The dogs now get along and our household is peaceful. John was very professional, friendly, and extremely knowledgable and effective. I had nearly lost hope and it's now fully restored.

I adopted a 65 pound Catahoula mix 2 year old female from our local humane society....She was a good dog inside but when she went outside she was hard to control becuase she wanted to chase every bird, squirrel, dog, you name it....today John spent the morning with me and Annie and before he left, she was walking with me not dragging me to every critter that moved. Since he left, I have taken Annie on two walks and was able to get her focus back to walking almost immediately whenever a dog or cat or squirrel crossed our path. It is now a joy to walk with my dog and not a chore....we are both very happy...thank you so much John, you are incredible!

My alaskan malamute would get extremely excited when people would visit. When John came over he had him calm, laying on his side within 30 seconds of walking in the door and it hasn't been a problem since. When we would go on walks my dog would try to pull me the whole time, like malamutes are bred to, and after John taught me some techniques, it only took 3 walks to get him to follow the whole time without pulling. It really is incredible, how quickly and easily my dog's issues were fixed, thanks to John.
