Stable K9 Training

We sent our 6 month old chocolate lab to Stable K9 for 18 days at the board and train program. Prior to sending him, we were at our wits end with him. He wouldn’t listen to us, and would steal anything he could get in his mouth. He would refuse to go on walks, unless the whole family was with, when he would go for a walk, he would pull, and would get over excited walking past others. It was Miserable! After sending him to Brooke, he has become a completely different dog! If the puppy in him didn’t come out every so often and catch him with a kids toy in his mouth, I would be convinced that Brooke traded him for an identical Lab that was well trained… That’s not the case. She took our menace Moose, and trained him to a well mannered, obedient dog. He loves to go for walks regardless who is with. Walks are also comfortable with him walking right beside us, not pulling. Our 3 year old will sometimes handle him, and he does great! Meeting others has been such a great experience as well. Moose does very well at sitting on command next to us while we talk with others. Our dog has also learned that while in the house, it’s ok to just relax, which amazed me to watch a 6 month old puppy do that with a 2 and 3 year old running around the house. We can’t thank Brooke, and staff enough for saving our sanity with Moose. The money spent was well worth it, and would do it a thousand times over again!!!

We highly recommend Brooke for any dog training! We had 6 lessons and she has not only helped Waffles with his obedience and leash manners, but she also helped us be more confident dog trainers. She is always willing to answer any training questions we have and genuinely cares about how waffles training is going. Her exposure classes are amazing too as they have been a great way to expose Waffles to other dogs and have made taking him out in public much easier!

I recently started taking my German Shepherd/Belgian Malinois mix for training lessons with Brooke! My dog struggled with aggression, lunging at people, anxiousness, etc. After just our first session, I saw a huge difference in my dog’s behavior. Brooke has been so understanding of every single concern I have with my dog & is dedicated to helping us! She is extremely knowledgeable & passionate about what she does & it makes coming to training even more exciting!:) I am so happy I went with Stable K9 Training! edit: we finished our 8 sessions with Brooke & I am sincerely so impressed. My day to day life is so much easier being able to bring my aggressive dog with me everywhere I go. I even get compliments from other dog owners on my pup’s behavior while I am outside walking her! Even after the 8 sessions ended, Brooke was still extremely involved in my dog’s progress & was there to answer any question I had! We attend weekly pack walks with Brooke & this has been an amazing way to keep up with my pup’s training & to get out & socialize with other dog owners:) We look forward to pack walks every week!

We heard about Brooke from Coco's Heart, and are so glad we did! We boarded Anton with her....he had many reactive and anxiety issues. With her helping him and us, he has been able to calm down, reduce aggression, and be more social in a positive way. Our 2nd foster-fail, Skye, has benefited from individual sessions, during which Brooke has patiently taught us better ways to handle a very active nearly one year old! Skye has a strong will, but is becoming better through the training and the Pack Walks. Exposing both dogs to various social situations, as Brooke does, has been helpful. Brooke is kind, calm, and patient! We enjoy working with her, and highly recommend Stable K-9!
