We appreciate all feedback, even when it’s critical, but we must respectfully disagree with your characterization of our training practices. Our dogs are brought into pet-friendly public spaces like Home Depot with the full knowledge and permission of store management. These environments provide essential real-world exposure that is critical to producing calm, confident, and well-behaved dogs—especially those in service or advanced obedience training. Far from being a “gimmick,” this is a widely accepted, professional method used by reputable trainers across the country. Our dogs are always under strict control, and we take great care to ensure they do not cause disruptions or safety issues. In fact, we often receive compliments from both staff and customers on how well-behaved our dogs are during training outings. We understand that not everyone may be comfortable around dogs, but blanket statements like yours overlook the purpose and benefit of public training, and unfairly misrepresent the work we do. We remain committed to ethical, effective training practices and to the safety and respect of both our clients and the public.
