Spirited Canine Boarding and Training

I highly recommend Christina as a dog trainer. I went to her when my 1.5 year old golden suddenly started having leash reactivity towards small dogs. Christina explained to me why this was happening and guided me and Brewster through the steps of overcoming it. She was patient, intuitive and respectful with both of us. She was so great, in fact, that I decided to continue on with her to work on Brewster's recall. He went from totally ignoring me when I called him to happily running straight to me when I call him. Thank you Christina!

Jax our puppy went with Tina for two weeks of training. Before he went he would jump, eat socks, couldn’t walk him on leash at all , and couldn’t watch TV. I picked Jax up on Tuesday and Tina went over everything with me. I was scared when we got home because I didn’t know how he would be. He didn’t jump on my neighbors, we can now watch TV, we go for a nice enjoyable walk after work. He doesn’t eat our socks and comforters. Thank you Tina for the joy you brought to us and our dog❤️❤️

I first met Christina when a dog I was fostering through Sweet Paws Rescue needed a behavioral assessment. I was so impressed with her knowledge and professionalism that I made a point to take her business card. Fast forward three years when I find myself in need of training assistance with my very fearful one year old Great Pyrenees, Harry. I reached out to Christina for some training lessons. I love her approach of observing the dog and how we as owners handle his needs before formulating an individualized plan. From there she trains the humans to train the dog. This approach establishes a trust relationship between owner and dog that forms the foundation to future training endeavors. The training is easy to follow through with and helps form a great bond between dog and owner. She’s compassionate and caring about the dogs and they respond well to her. She works with you until she is sure the lessons are understood and working. I can say that Harry has responded extremely well to the training she has provided us. We have been able to avoid medications for his anxiety with simple behavior modifications. As new issues arise I contact Christina for some additional sessions. I value her training expertise and always pass along her business card to adopters of my foster dogs. I highly recommend Christina Gelardi for training you and your dog.

Christina has been with my pup and I since week 1. She has greatly expedited our training, giving us great benchmarks so we are always on track, and has been so wonderful with her abundance of advice and constant availability to answer questions. It has been so incredibly comforting knowing we have her as back up, she always has a solution and just knows dog behavior so well. And my puppy LOVES playing with her sweet dog Mazz. So so thankful to have her in our lives, highly recommend.
