FirstBarkBeau is awesome!! He is very knowledgeable and I love taking my dog to training with him, I see progress every session and its fun. My dog is gaining discipline rapidly and I am very glad I found this place. Highly recommend if you have a dog that needs any kind of training.

We are an appointment only facility outside of our walk-in hours Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays from 3-6pm. We are a family owned and operated dog training business. We use science based methods and modern psychology principles to help companion dogs and owners learn to communicate.

Do you have puppy kindergarten classes? I have a 12 week old mini aussie.
We have a 6 week puppy class for $150. It’s very I depth and informative for the owners and each ouppy will learn many key skills including learning to relax and socialize with other puppy’s.

My 3 yr old Brittany is 90% good at coming back to me when off leash; it's that 10% that has me concerned for her safety. She won't listen to me when deciding to chase a squirrel or bird; can I train her to respond to my command at all times?
Yeah you can train her to respond and in time ignore and not even stress out due to a squirrel sighting. Meet n greets are the best thing to start with. We also have a Free Informational coming up. Monday October 7th at 6pm.

I have no shortage of praise for Beau and his training style. I sought out dog training to address a new streak of aggression in my 3yr-old Pitbull/Boxer toward other dogs and wildlife. I saw another trainer before finding Beau and she told me essentially my dog was going to be extremely difficult to train, he would never be good around children, I would never be able to have other animals - and if I wanted those things, I should get another dog. I then found Beau who told me my dog was just an overly sensitive guy who needed structure and reinforcement. After just 3 sessions with Beau (and diligent daily practice for 15 min. - 1 hour per day for several months) I now beam with pride at the progress my dog has made. The sight of any small animal used to send him wildly out of control to chase and capture it - now he follows me into the chicken coop with no leash, no problem. Two weeks ago I brought home a kitten because I felt he was ready. I carefully and slowly introduced the two over about a week and a half. Now they snuggle and are the best of friends. And kids? No problem there either. :) I don't see how any of this would be possible without Beau. Thanks Beau!!!
Beau is a great instructor that's well educated on dog behaviour and really explains what a dog is thinking and how to positively correct unwanted behavior.
