She is incredibly professional and has an amazing ability to earn a dog’s respect while still showing them patience and care. Their progress has exceeded my expectations, and I couldn’t be more grateful. I highly, highly recommend Maddie and Southern Hounds to anyone looking for real results and a trainer who genuinely knows her craft! (Pics are of my babies “placing”.)

Maddie has been an awesome dog trainer got piglet and she was 5 months old she didn't know how to behave Maddie trained her and did board n trained i would use Maddie again with more training with another dog or puppy

Extremely professional and knowledgeable trainer, I recommend to anyone looking for serious individual lessons. Southern hounds personalizes lessons based on your dog's training needs. I have gotten more results in 2 sessions with my Doberman Pincher than 2 full classes at a big box store. If you are serious about training and owning a well mannered dog give Southern Hounds a call.

In need of retraining our stubborn and jealous 4 year old dog, Oreo,who is 1 of 4, we found Southern Hounds, met with Maddie and she evaluated him- coming to the sad conclusion that he just may not be able to overcome his jealousy towards our 19 month old daughter, so she helped us to find a better home for him. She was more than helpful & understanding she handled all the arrangements and had the necessary paperwork for the rehoming of him, after the new home unfortunately was unable to commit Maddie also took the time to help get him back home to us. She did more than she had to and that goes to show just how committed she is to helping us and our pets live better lives together or apart. After our rehoming experience she took the time to guide us in the right direction on how to help him adjust, with the many different types of payment arrangement options and flexible time slots she taught our old dog some new tricks, and us too! Her knowledge, heart and determination to help dogs, not only stay in their forever homes, but to do it with respect and obedience is worth every minute and penny that is invested!

Maddie with Southern Hounds is top shelf in my book. She will come to your house, listen to your concerns with what you want to accomplish and then recommend a training program to fit your needs. Maddie is very compassionate about what she does. She has already gone above and beyond with my situations I'm trying to accomplish. If you looking for a dog trainer and sitting on the fence, give Southern Hounds a call. You won't be disappointed
