SOS K9 Training

We were recommended to contact SOS K9 when we felt a bit over our heads with our dog Scout. She was almost 1 at the time, but became fearful on walks, wasn’t understanding “no”, and was just being an all around rambunctious girl. She is a mix of herding breeds, and was definitely putting us to the test. We had taken her to other training classes, but we often felt rushed and felt the classes lacked clarity and the “why” behind behaviors. We met Melo and Yohanis and they took their time explaining all of our options, discussed different training theories, but most importantly, listened to all of our concerns, answered all of our questions, and really learned what we wanted to get out of the training for not only Scout, but for us as well. We opted for a month long board and train, and Scout spent most of her time with Yohanis. We missed her terribly, but the daily texts, photos, and videos were amazing! Seeing her progress was the best way to know we made the right decision. Every 10 days, we would see Scout for trainings, and Yohanis and Melo would teach us the proper commands and handling, to insure she was understanding us as well. The improvements that Scout made and continues to make now that she is home, is incredible to see. She’s still our same playful girl, but her listening, focus, and fearfulness have changed dramatically. Yohanis and Melo treated her as their own, and we truly can’t thank them enough for the care and time they put into their training programs! These guys are truly the best! Brynn, Sam, & Scout

I highly recommend the trainers Rahmeloh and Chris. They are extremely knowledgeable and consistent. My dog Arroz could not be walked without pulling, barking, and jumping at people and dogs. When we found out we were expecting our first child we knew this would be the best decision for us. I don't regret it at all. After they trained arroz it was our turn to learn all that arroz learned—which was weird for us but Rahmeloh was very encouraging that we were doing good =). We continue to go to the trainings and arroz always has so much fun. I can’t say enough good things about them. THANK YOU RAHMELOH AND CHRIS!!!

I can’t say enough great things about SOS K9 Training!!!!!!!! They did an absolutely amazing job with my dog, Ace The trainers are true professionals who understand dogs at a level that’s beyond impressive. From the start, they took the time to understand Ace’s unique personality, and worked patiently with him to make real progress. Ace used to have a few behavioral challenges, but thanks to SOS K9 Training . He’s transformed he’s more responsive focus and overall a joy to be around. I am thrilled with the results and it’s clear ace is happier too. I am super satisfied and grateful for their expertise. I would highly recommend SOS K9 Training to anyone looking to make a positive change in their dogs’s life.

When we first got our puppy we knew we would use SOS K9 to train him based on the great reviews we have heard from friends and acquaintances. I will admit I was hesitant to give my new puppy over for 10 days due to the fear of the unknown, but they completely put me at ease. We saw his progress daily through updates and saw how happy he was. Now that he’s home, I'm learning first-hand what a benefit sending him to SOS K9 has been. He’s happy, but I’m also happy knowing I have the tools to keep him trained. It’s a win-win.

I highly recommend SOS K9. I have a 4 year old very people reactive boxer mix who I rescued at 11 months. I worked with Melo and Yohanis and found them to be very knowledgeable. I have used another training company in the past and while my dog did improve, I found Melo and Yohanis to be more detail orientated. I received daily updates/videos during the board and train and everything during the lessons was throughly explained. They explained why certain techniques worked and didn't work. They treat each dog like it is their own and answered all of my questions. They sharpened up his commands and even showed me a more efficient and effective way to help my dog when he becomes reactive towards others. Taking him on walks and out and about has become a lot less stressful. Melo and Yohanis are excellent trainers.
