SOS K9 Training

I chose to train with SOS K-9 Training after adopting my rescue dog, Josie, in November 2024. She was fearful of many people, sounds, and situations, so I wanted to start with basic obedience to help build her confidence. From the free consultation to our final one-on-one session, my experience with SOS K-9 Training—and my trainer, Meloh—has been incredible. Every session was packed with useful information, and there was never a moment wasted. Meloh always made sure I had the tools and training videos I needed to keep working with Josie between sessions. Even though Josie is fearful of most people, Meloh was still able to create a training environment where she could succeed. After completing our eight private sessions, I’ve seen major progress in her overall confidence and ability to begin to manage her fears. I truly believe this was the best decision for Josie. I’m excited to continue her growth through SOS K-9’s group sessions and our ongoing training at home. I’m so grateful to SOS K-9 for helping me help Josie come out of her shell.

There is no better training company to partner with. Melo and his team are reliable, always on time, and super knowledgeable in their trade. After only just 2 months of training, our dog was transformed into the best version of himself. No more leash pulling, no longer reactive when other dogs or squirrels are in our path. It was a difficult decision for us to choose a dog trainer. There are so many people that say they train dogs, so we looked into a number of different options. It wasn't an easy decision, but I'm happy to say that we made a great choice working with SOS. Melo is an outstanding trainer - it surprised us that someone that young could be so knowledgeable and effective. Every week we worked with him our dog (a chocolate lab) made progress. The care and professionalism that Melo brought to our coaching sessions exceeded our expectations for this kind of experience. Based on the research we did, his pricing was fair and the quality of instruction actually made us feel like it was something of a bargain compared to what's out there. We couldn't recommend SOS and Melo more highly: He is a total pro, an expert at what he does, and a delight to work with. Our dog loves him too :)
