Belinda is awesome! You won’t regret working with her! I first encountered Belinda at a training course at Pets Lifeline. She has the ability to put you at ease, and keep you engaged at the same time. Belinda is knowledgeable and structured, but absolutely meets you (and your dog) where you are. She quickly assessed what things my dog Scout and I needed to work on. I was impressed that in the class setting, she did the same for the other participants- sorting out specific tasks for each group depending on where we each were in our training process. Belinda provided all sorts of advice and information that I’m still using. And I would 100% work with her again. Belinda helped Scout and I again with training in a park so that our walks would be more enjoyable. I still have a wild little terrier on some walks, but her techniques do work and our walks are better and better.

I’ve had the opportunity to work with Belinda under several very different, and very challenging, circumstances, and I can’t recommend her highly enough. I first worked with Belinda while I was employed at a local dog rescue, where she helped us with some of our most challenging dogs. Later, when I was long-term fostering a 90lb blind dog, she again provided thoughtful, practical guidance. Most recently, I worked with her for my own dog, who experiences grand mal seizures and needs a very patient, calm, and quiet environment to truly thrive. In every scenario, Belinda was deeply empathetic, clear and honest about potential outcomes, and direct while always remaining kind. She has an exceptional ability to meet both dogs and humans where they are - without judgment - and to set realistic expectations while still offering hope and progress. On top of all of that, she has a great sense of humor and is genuinely a really good human. If you’re looking for someone who truly understands dogs, complex behavioral and medical needs, and the people who love them, Belinda is it. Highly recommend.
