This is by far the worst grooming experience ever! Margaret was not only not helpful but also rude! I am from out of town doing seasonal work and My 2 yr old Shih Tzu has received the worst BUZZ cut of his life at this place. Where I am from, I have taken him to be groomed every month since I have had him and there has never been a problem at all, then all of a sudden after 2 years of grooming him monthly at my normal groomers, I was told he is now "vicious" at this groomer and he is sent home with no cut!
The only reason I returned for the 2nd time was it was the only place that could accommodate an appointment that worked with my schedule, but after this experience, I don't care if it is the only place open in the entire state of Maine and they were the only people with scissors, I would rather swim to Boston then to ever give these people one cent of my hard-earned money and If Margaret treats her clients' pets like she treats her clients, it's no wonder why my dog did not have a good experience here either.

My dog is usually very nervous when we take him for grooming. He was treated very well here and the staff are very gentle. You can tell how much they love animals. It is a great place!
