Something to Bark About Dog Training

I brought my two year old poodle to Something to Bark About due to some reactivity (constantly barking and jumping on people). Beth and Lisa worked with her for three weeks. Lainey has been home for a week now and I am so pleased. She is much calmer and listens very well. I’ve also noticed she is able to make eye contact which has increased our bond. Beth stayed in touch and sent me numerous videos of Lainey’s training. Beth has also remained very accessible and has answered questions since we brought Lainey home. It is obvious how much Beth and Lisa love what they do and how much they love the dogs they work with. I would definitely recommend.

We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Something to Bark About! Trainer Beth worked wonders with our Golden Doodle, Cooper, during his 3-week in-house training. Cooper came home with an impressive set of skills—potty control, sit, stay, wait, come, roll over, off, drop it, heel, and even walking off-leash around the neighborhood with distractions and no issues at all! Plus she taught him how to go to place on the Coolaroo Cot she has in house. Cooper loves that cot so much we had to buy him his own for the house! Beth was incredible—she kept us updated with nearly daily videos of Cooper’s progress, provided detailed feedback during calls, and was always available to answer our questions. It was clear that she genuinely cared about Cooper’s success and well-being. We felt completely at ease leaving him in her care. The facility is spotless and safe, and her team, especially Lisa, was fantastic—Cooper absolutely loved her! Our experience with Beth and her staff has been nothing short of perfect!! That’s no exaggeration here!!! Something to Bark About Dog Training offers superior service with a sincere smile!! Not only is the facility extremely clean and odorless, it’s welcoming, cozy and the grounds are extremely well kept. Everything was orderly and organized, which made for a flawless transaction!! My husband and I were searching for a Cockapoo puppy to love. There are hundreds, if not thousands, of breeders out there who have precious puppies, but what stood out to us most, was Beth’s professionalism, patience, kindness, and her eagerness to please. All of the new puppies were taken to the vet regularly to lay the foundation for a healthy, happy start. We traveled from MD to NC to pick up our sweet dog that Beth lovingly named Bindi. The meaning of her Australian name is butterfly! I absolutely LOVE butterflies, so we were sold on that and her beautiful face. We are so blessed to have her in our family. Beth extended her outstanding customer service beyond the purchase. She called to follow up, offered sound advice and encouragement. Upon meeting Bindi for the first time, she was sparkling clean, balanced, calm and secure. Beth gifted Bindi with a fantastic goodie bag to go!! That made the long seven hour journey back home a breeze. We are in love with our precious one! She is definitely thriving! Beth set the stage for Bindi’s healthy start! Beth goes beyond the call of duty and it has meant the world to us. For this, we are eternally grateful.

Beth is awesome my wife got a Dalmatian and we wanted to make sure it was well trained as we breed cocker spaniels so thru contact by Beth about I've if it previous litters I thought of her for training. She offers different levels of training... This is my wife's dream dog and she's receiving amazing results and it's only been a couple weeks. Her lil girl will be a very well behaved big girl very soon all thanks to Beth. I recommend her to anyone who is serious about having a very obedient house pup on up to perfection show quality training... Lots of awards from showing her own and she's great with animals in general it's amazing the talent she has for immediately upon meeting the pup being able to have that commanding connection all while being very soft spoken and sweet and patient. Never utilized anyone for training before but couldn't imagine anyone l would feel more comfortable with my own family members (yes pets are family!)
