Something to Bark About Dog Training

Beth is amazing! We adopted a shelter puppy, and as first-time dog owners, we realized he needed more structured training than we were giving. He was using the bathroom in the house, even though we were taking him out frequently. The puppy nipping/biting was terrible - my hands and ankles/feet were torn up, and my son wasn’t comfortable at all playing with him. Nothing we tried helped, but we didn’t want to give up on him. A random google search led me to Beth, and after reading the reviews, I reached out. She was quick to respond and after the first contact, we set up a three-week board and train session. We ended up extending almost two more weeks due to a family emergency and our pup needing a bit more work with a couple things. We just brought him home yesterday, and the difference is night and day! We’ve gone with zero accidents in the house, and the nipping has subsided! My son was able to pet him for a while last night for the first time, and I have zero new marks on my hands/feet! He’s got basic commands down, including Stay (he no longer bolts for the door when it opens). We still need to continue his training at home to keep everything he’s learned ingrained obviously, but we are amazed and so grateful for the work Beth and her girls have put in with him! She told us some things that we weren’t aware of as first-time dog owners, even though we tried to research on the internet beforehand. Her advice has made such a difference for us at home already. We will absolutely take him back to her if we decide to do more advanced training when he’s older. From what we researched prior to finding her, Beth is a lot more reasonable price-wise, and her results are worth way more! Her place is about a 40-45 minute drive from our house, but it was absolutely worth the trips! If your pup needs training and you feel overwhelmed, please don’t give up on them and consider taking them to Beth. She has given us the hope and advice/skills we needed to give our pup the best life. It’s just the second day home with him, but we are no longer stressed about how we can take care of him and know that our son can play safely with him going forward. So, so, so very grateful to Beth and her team!!!! ❤️
