FirstBarkEls does a great job teaching new puppy parents how to keep their furkids entertained. My Standard Poodle, Booker was the youngest one in his class. He especially loved the unique "Cups Game". Fun class!

Burt & Els Cox are the co-owners of Something Els Dog School LLC, a dog school with a different approach. We will teach you how to work with your dog in a positive way with rewarding & playful games that teach your dog good manners and behaviors. The advantages of positive reinforcement dog training include improving your relationship with your dog and a dog that will listen better. In turn, your dog will become more social and have better manners both inside and outside of your home! We offer dog obedience classes in Erie, PA and the surrounding areas. Most folks don't know it but the dog isn't the only one being trained. The family members or master, is being trained too. Els does a great job teaching us how to teach our puppy. And is very patient with us.
Els shows she cares about my dog and his well-being, and gives us clear and easy to follow directions. My dog loves going there!

I've had dogs my entire life. I've never worked with a trainer to address any behavioral issues (although I now realize I should have). Admittedly, I was intimidated about working with a trainer after recently adding a third pup to our pack. Els came highly recommended. Initial contact was through texting and telephone, but our first in-person session exceeded my expectations. She was so patient with me and my endless questions. And with our pup and his endless energy. She was curious about so many things that I wouldn't have thought to share but certainly informed her of the dynamics of our household (humans and dogs). I'm looking forward to future group classes for our pup, as well as some private sessions for one of our dogs who has some learning of her own to do.
