FirstBarkMy dog is a rescue, and she is working with him. He is doing wonderfully. Highly recommend her. She is very patient with the dogs.

Burt & Els Cox are the co-owners of Something Els Dog School LLC, a dog school with a different approach. We will teach you how to work with your dog in a positive way with rewarding & playful games that teach your dog good manners and behaviors. The advantages of positive reinforcement dog training include improving your relationship with your dog and a dog that will listen better. In turn, your dog will become more social and have better manners both inside and outside of your home! We offer dog obedience classes in Erie, PA and the surrounding areas. Great training atmosphere. Many levels of training. Els is very knowledgeable about all aspects of dogs and owners. I have worked with my own dogs for many years but her input was valuable with my first giant breed, a st. Bernard/greater Swiss mountain dog. Highly recommend Something Els dog school!
At this posting we have attended the first 2 puppy play classes. We plan to continue on. The classes are structured so that the dogs and owners are able to learn the new skills and have an opportunity to practice. Els is great at providing feedback and encouragement.
I was so nervous after having a crazy 6 month old puppy join our family but through training, I see him improve day by day. I love how much they focus on letting dogs be dogs and using positive reinforcement. Charlee loves going each week and we learned so much!
Els and her husband are very knowledgeable. They don't just want your pup to success they want you to also. Very patient and always are available for questions.
