I wrote a prior review on FB, but way more people will see the comments on here. My husky Raiden and I have been going to SmartyPaws for 2.5 years, since he was a puppy. We started with Puppy Socials and then all the obedience classes, all the way through level 4 and he passed his CGC! We couldn't have done it without the guidance, motivation, reminders, and love from Julie Braun. Raiden is my first Husky, and they are known to be stubborn, independent, and escape artists. One of the 1st things Julie taught us was the most important, the wait command when opening the door. I foster for rescues and huskies are always the dogs lost and running away, so i realize the importance of the wait command now. She also taught us not to give in to him, but we wear him out mentally and physically everyday and practice obedience on a regular basis to keep him fulfilled and happy. He still loves going there for daycare or bootcamp and we look for classes he can take just to keep him interested. Julie is still one of his favorite people and cannot contain his excitement when he sees her.

She doesn't just train the dog; she expertly trains the owner, providing us with the knowledge, confidence, and practical tools necessary to continue the work every day.
