At Smart Paws Resort & Training in St. Augustine, we provide trusted boarding, daycare, grooming, retail, and professional dog training. I have a 5 year old Boston Terrier. She is a wonderful loving pet but doesn’t know how to get along with other dogs. She is so happy to see another dog that she jumps to kiss them but other dogs takes her actions as being aggressive. Can u help me

Joey is a miracle worker...dare I say...the dog whisperer... Very compassionate, professional and reasonably priced. Will be having him train and/or board our next 2 pups also.

Joey with Smart Paws in an excellent trainer who specializes in working type dog breeds that are harder to handle than an average house pet, but he also provides basic obedience and socialization training. He offers different options such as one on one lessons or group classes and he has been very helpful with some of the dogs that came in to Daytona Beach German Shepherd Rescue and needed some additional training before they were ready for adoptions. Joey has a lot of experience and knowledge that he is willing to share with others in efforts to benefit the dog's life and make their owner's life easier. Highly recommended.
Just watching the trainer with his student was awesome! He is very patient and upbeat. He made it a point to explain every step of why each tip works and all the benefits of positive reinforcment! Great experience! :)
We did group training for our Great Dane puppies here! Great training for us and the puppies! Joey makes quality use of the time during class and is a fantastic teacher!
Great classes! Joey makes class fun and wants to see you and your dog succeed! His assistants are very helpful too! I would definitely recommend these obedience classes for your pup! They teach you how to train your dog 🐕
