Skye's Dog Training

Skye’s dog training is superlative. We looked for a month at every training facility in the Salt Lake area. The use of e-collars as far as we were concerned coerce a dog into short term obedience which soon becomes fear and aggression. We wanted someone with experience, credentials and a totally positive way of training. We are so grateful we found Skye! Within three fun lessons our little dachshund puppy has learned (and continues to learn) to not be reactive to everything he sees and hears. He loves his lessons which are all positive and we are so grateful to learn how to teach our little guy to want to learn. He has learned commands that keep him well behaved because he wants to! Skye is a true professional. She is double certified and so patient. She teaches with entirely positive trusted learning techniques that our dog learns happily. We are so grateful that we did our homework. Thank you Skye!!!

Skye has a wide range of experience with every breed and disposition of dog. Her method of training is very humane and based on positive reinforcement. My pup started at 6 months old and is now 15 months, and he has gone through puppy manners, intermediate, and advanced group classes. I love that her dog Frankie is present and serves as a class model for what is attainable with good training. Skye never fails to offer helpful problem solving tips and the class follows a specified curriculum. Shadow has made good progress and I have too!

Skye at Skye’s Dog Training in West Jordan is absolutely incredible. I actually drive about 80 minutes round trip just to train with her, and it is 100% worth it. Skye is extremely knowledgeable about dog behavior and offers everything from basic obedience training to psychiatric service dog training and therapy dog training. Her classes cover all the essential skills every dog needs while also helping owners feel confident and capable in the training process. What I really love is that she keeps the classes small, which means you get a lot of personalized attention. She’s also very affordable because you can truly tell she does this out of genuine love for both dogs and people. Skye is hilarious, encouraging, and makes the entire training experience fun and supportive instead of intimidating. My Doberman, Rune, absolutely adores both Skye and her dog Frankie. Frankie is such a well-trained dog and the perfect example of Skye’s training methods in action. If you’re looking for a dog trainer in the West Jordan area for obedience training, service dog training, therapy dog training, or just building a stronger bond with your dog, I cannot recommend Skye’s Dog Training enough.🤍🤍🤍
