Juan is the best trainer one can ask for! We were so eager to start level 2 training, and it went amazing! We really enjoyed how Juan taught us how to train our dog Taiko, and the patience he had as Taiko took a little more time. He explained things to its smallest detail, helped correct things as the training went on, and gave tips on how we can continue improving. We also enjoyed how accessible Juan was, making the time in between sessions very productive. We’ve had to reach back out to Juan after our training was complete, and he was very responsive and helpful! Glad we’ve found a trainer who we can always rely on. Overall, Juan helped train us to be better owners, and feel more comfortable with having Taiko off leash all within a few weeks of training!

When my dog was about five months old, I was having problems potty training and getting him to pay any attention to me follow commands or learn anything. So I turned to Juan. I did feel a little uncomfortable in the beginning learning to correct my dog, but just like a child you correct their behavior. And once my dog learned who is boss using SJ Elite’s dog training techniques, I never looked back. Probably the biggest takeaway is that you don’t train a dog once. You continually train them through, which only takes 10-20 minutes of daily practice to reinforce the techniques. So every day on my dog’s walks we practice sit, stay, down stay, heal, recall, and a little socialization by walk through a nearby outdoor mall. Now, my dog can be stubborn. He is in his terrible teenage years. At the moment, but at least I have the tools to deal with it thanks to SJ.Elite dog training.
Juan at Elite Dog Training was life-changing for my 7-year-old dog. He had developed some very bad behaviors over the years, and Juan helped us to correct them. He's like a different dog now. I highly recommend his company!
