She truly loves dogs and helping them become even better members of the family than they are already are. We just completed the Basics class and look forward to taking more in the future. Laura teaches reinforcement based training that has its foundation in proven behavioral principals and research rather than being based off a TV show host who pushes disproven techniques that encourage you to dominate and intimidate your dog. Sit Stay Play gives you the tools to build a strong, positive, and cooperative relationship with your pet.
We are so glad to find Laura through our dog's Vet. We love the versatility of the programs she offers such as classes, playdates, group walks in different places, etc., and the way she trains dogs, the facility too. She is wonderful and dedicated to what she does. It is amazing that she knows each dog individually, Our dog, Zoro, loves her.

Sit Stay Play Michigan has forever changed our lives in the most profound way - They provided compassionate care and attention for my dog, effective tools, tips, and training for me and my pet, and their fun and professional approach to obedience classes made the whole experience worth while. Laura is the best dog trainer I've ever met, and the Great Lakes Bay region is blessed to have her (and her classes). I can't say enough great things about Sit Stay Play Michigan. Laura's positive reinforcement approach has worked great for our puppy and the weekly classes are a lot of fun. Laura has always been supportive and helpful whenever we have questions. Whether you have a new puppy or want to teach an older dog something new, I'd highly recommend Sit Stay Play.
