If I could give Abby more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. She is hands down the best dog sitter I’ve ever had—and I’ve gone through quite a few on Rover over the years. From day one, she has gone above and beyond for my two pups, Willow and Gizmo. Whether it’s a quick 30-minute check-in or a full hour-long visit, she pours her heart into every moment she spends with them. Abby is not only incredibly reliable and responsible, but she genuinely loves dogs, and it shows in everything she does. She feeds them, gives them treats, plays with them outside—even when it’s 90° out she’ll be out there throwing the ball around with them, making sure they’re exercised and happy. She sends the cutest photos and thoughtful updates, so I always know how they’re doing during the day. She also keeps an eye on the house—making sure the gate is locked after the landscapers leave, bringing in packages, and yes, somehow even vacuuming when she doesn’t need to (I keep telling her not to, but she’s just that thoughtful!). When I travel for work, she’s also available for overnight stays, which gives me complete peace of mind knowing Willow and Gizmo are in such good hands. Abby is flexible, communicative, dependable, and most importantly, kind. My dogs adore her—and honestly, so do I. She’s truly a gem, and if you’re lucky enough to have her care for your pups, you’ll never want anyone else.
