Sit N Stay Dog Academy

Hi, I'm writing this review to thank you for guiding and training my parents. We can now get along better and I can follow their lead more easily. They were so grateful that you provided extra time and effort to us. Thank you Shalli for going the extra mile for us. Thanks to Jenn for answering all my parents questions and concerns. Thanks to all of the trainers who helped us through this process, especially Sam. You guys were awesome. I know I have more work to do now that I'm home but I'll make sure my parents succeed. I CAN NOT say enough great things about Sit n Stay Dog Academy Last Spring we lost our dog Rex, and decided we wanted another pup for our 3 1/2 year old Autistic Son. We got truly lucky in finding our full breed Shepard at Tampa humane society. We realized a few days after getting "BUDDY" that we needed to have him trained. Upon asking around and researching we looked into several places and were disgusted and frustrated .. When we got to our evaluation with Shallie with in five minutes, we were so impressed it was so amazing how with-in those five minute'Shallie handled our dog so well. She showed us how our dog could be. I am so grateful that we are training with them. In a short time with her and Lexi , Jen and of course Clark our dog is doing amazing. It was all because they know what they are doing. Buddy was acting up so bad, in a short amount of time, it all turned around and we could not be anymore thrilled. Training buddy for service was the best decision we ever made. Buddy already passed his first certification , we just have to pass the second one. Again we are so grateful to Sit and Stay Dog Academy for all there hard work and dedication to these animals truly amaze me and my family. When I leave Buddy with them for vacation , I never worry and I know I can call and always know my Dog is well taking care of by the Staff. ITs not like i am a client they make us feel like Family. I make sure everyone knows if they need training, this is the place to go. Again thank you to the whole crew at Sit and Stay. You all are amazing people .

I live in CA and brought my Bichon Poodle (Penelope) to Sit N Stay for service dog training. I felt confident and comfortable leaving Penelope because the staff kept in constant communication by providing updates and videos of her training and progress. The staff is outstanding and their training methods are very effective. I'm happy and proud to share that Penelope is now a certified service dog and canine good citizen!

Cannot thank Sit N Stay enough for all they’ve done for me and my German Shepherd! Don’t let any bad reviews fool you, dog training takes patience and dedication. the staff here and the trainers are amazing and their ability to train dogs speaks for itself. I use a wheelchair to get around and my dog now walks by my side flawlessly without pulling & watches my every move. i am amazed at the progress my dog has made in a year and a half and am so thankful to be apart of the Sit n Stay family!!

I cannot say enough good things about this training academy. Clarke in one of the most knowledgeable and patient men I have ever had the pleasure of meeting and getting to know. From the moment I walked into sit n stay for my dogs evaluation I was made to feel like family. I was so nervous and was met with nothing but compassion and empathy, by everyone but especially Lexi and Shalli. Now this is not a quick fix, and they set VERY clear expectations of their intentions and what needed to happen on my end at home from day 1. They gave me lists of things I needed to prepare. Weekly at our visits they were patient in teaching us how to manage his training at home and thoroughly explained the process and why they were doing certain things. Your dogs training starts when you take them home. This is a commitment and you can tell that it was very intentionally designed that way. When I arrived at pick up I was handed a packet of everything I needed to remember. I was given the schedule for my next private session and group classes. When I tell you that this place cares so much about your happiness and your dogs happiness , I mean it from the bottom of my heart. I could go on and on but I will leave it at this, I am so glad I made the decision to become part of sit n stays family.
