It’s important to lay the foundation, break habits, and begin a fresh routine. Based on your evaluation and assessment, SNS will determine a length of time that is appropriate for your fur-family to begin working daily on basic obedience at our facility.
We encourage you to get involved in your new puppy’s training as early as possible. This avoids creating any bad habits from the start. We can teach you how to raise up your pup with proper communication techniques so they become respectful and obedient members of our society.
Here at Sit ‘N Stay we will work with you and your dog to learn how to properly trail a scent as well as how to reinforce this training outside of class.
We provide training to a variety of types of service dogs including: Therapy Dog Tracking Dog Working Dog Wheelchair Assistance Dog Protection Dog Custom Trained Dog (PTSD, Medical Alert, Autism Support, Seizure Response, etc. There is endless possibilities based on the individual need)
Dogs are frequently used in therapy. Inghram’s Sit ‘N Stay Dog Academy trains dogs to be friendly, patient, confident, gentle and at ease in all situations. We teach them to enjoy human contact and be content to be petted and handled, sometimes clumsily.
Clients of SNS have access to our boarding and daycare offerings. Once you go through your first part of basic training, being on a routine is critical. Therefore, we provide boarding and daycare for our clients.
We offer weekly classes solely for client’s children to come practice and advance their learning for handling and communicating. This teaches kids responsibility and leadership in a fun, caring way that can have beneficial effects that will last a lifetime.

I've been using sit and stay since I got my first service dog through them for my son with cerebral palsy to walk with. Also another dog and then finally training the aggressiveness out of our Rottweiler. Every one I've sent loves the place. Why do you think or know they abused animals

Good morning, The video you are seeing was staged over 2 years ago by PETA. We were just as appalled as everyone when we first saw it. We hired a private investigator to investigate our company and invited animal services out. Nothing was found. The PETA informant who staged the video is currently being sued by Petsmart for staging cruelty for hamsters, gerbils, and parakeets. The video does not represent our company or what we do. My dog Maximus, spent 8 weeks there as a pup and goes back regularly for stays. No problems. I was told about the video when we went for the interview. Was told it was a person with an axe to grind. My neighbor also had their dogs trained and boarded there as well.

I have 2 miniature dachshunds who have NOT been abused during Daycare nor boarding. I have not witnessed any type of abuse in my 2.5 years of being a client of Sit N Stay.

Best thing I could have ever done. Judeau is a French bulldog when he came to sit and stay he was 1 years old and had already picked up a ton of bad habits due to my lack of knowledge on how to raise a pup.. however thanks to Shalli and the entire team along with 3 months of training for myself and judeau we are now fully trained and service certified.. it’s literally as if I have a brand new dog.. not only that but as we continue to journey and navigate through life Shalli is still available and always helping us out with health and just upkeep and maintaining the training.. If you’re looking for a family environment Sit and Stay should be your first choice
