At Sit Means Sit Dog Training we want to make your life easier starting with a well-behaved pup. I have a alaskan husky approx 2 yrs old he is a pound rescue and have had him a year and a half he is a great dog but I just can't figure out his motivation factor he is not food or treat motivated i still can't get him to come most times refuses to sit or stay the basics let alone off leash training

Sit means sit and all its employees are super friendly and very helpful, we brought our 6 month old chihuahua Yorki mix because she was a mess! But with sit means sit they got her to be the goodest girl in the park!
I had no clue what I was in for when I brought home a nine-week-old golden doodle. I thought the constant biting, leash pulling, and little outbursts would never stop. I was so mistaken! "Sit Means Sit" has truly transformed my experience. The trainers are fantastic--they really take the time to address your individual needs!

We rescued a six month old lab mix from an abusive situation two years ago. The first year of our dog’s life, he was always at home with one of us. Little did we know this would lead to extreme separation anxiety. We couldn’t walk out the door for 15 seconds without ourdog howling, and screaming from inside the house. We attempted kenneling with no training and that proved unsuccessful. Thank HEAVENS we found Sit Means Sit training! We purchased the three day intensive with a year of group training and life has never been the same, in the BEST way possible. Within only a few short months, we have been able to successfully leave our extremely anxious dog alone in a kennel at home for over two hours with NO signs of anxiety or stress. Family members have even noticed how much more confident our dog has become! Another key element we have worked through is an excited reaction to dogs. Anytime he saw a dog before we found Sit Means Sit, he would howl and yank and pull on the leash. This was, frankly, embarrassing for us and stressful for him because we would feel so frustrated with him. Now, thanks to group classes and training with Aaron, Frank, and Kyle, Finn is calm on his leash and appropriate when seeing other dogs. We are no longer that family rushing around embarrassed praying we don’t encounter another dog on our walks. We can go to a restaurant with a patio and no longer fear if another dog came by! Our dog is relaxed and focused in on us. Sit Means Sit has been the best thing to happen to not only our dog, but to our entire family! We can’t WAIT to see what these next few months enable our family to accomplish in training!
