Sit Means Sit of Orange County specializes in dog and puppy training for the real world. Our experienced staff works well with dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds and temperaments. Our goal for our clients is to have happy obedient dogs with on and off leash control around severe distractions. Utilizing Sit Means Sit’s Better, Faster, Smarter training system, we make it fun to accomplish this goal quickly. Additionally, we back up the results with life time training to insure our clients have support for the phases and changes in life. In all our obedience programs we teach the basic commands like come, sit, place, etc. We will also work with your dog on things like car manners, loose leash and off leash walking, and furniture rules. Additionally, we teach how to stop nuisance behaviors like jumping, digging, and biting.

A premier program. In this program, your dog will stay in the care of our staff at our training facility. During their stay, your dog will be training daily with our professional dog trainers. Your dog will quickly learn the commands we teach in the Obedience Training Program.

Our Group Training Program is unlimited for the life of your dog. Clients must first train in the Private Lessons Program or a Board and Train Program before being graduated to Group Training. Once ready, clients can come to as many group classes as they want for the life or their dog.

Highly highly recommend sit means sit at Huntington Beach. The staff are very kind and very knowledgeable. The training program they have was so fun to go through. My husband and I went with the combination training at the facility and at home (training once a week). The trainers explained everything to us very well and we were able to replicate and continue to teach her on our non training days which helped a lot. Now we’re able to go onto group trainings held at the 4 different park locations they offer, which we are very excited for. This program is worth it (no matter the age of your dog) it really hit on the key things we wanted to work on with our pup. We trained with Jason, Todd and Daniel, we truly enjoyed them and learned a lot from them. I know the rest of the staff are equally trained and equally communicative as well.
Leo had a great experience at Sit Means Sit. He has learned so much and will continue to grow with follow up lessons provided. Now it’s our time to be trained. Good luck to us!

Nervous about bringing a new baby home, I spent months trying to find a program that included at home training for my almost 10 year old dog. Nugget is an anxious dog and has never been boarded and most programs said they needed to have him for a couple of weeks and were very expensive, not a great combo for an older anxious dog and missed the main point of baby integration. I went through 5 or so services when I came upon Sit Means Sit. They had everything we needed, at home training and more importantly, didn’t tell me Nugget was too old for training. And we have the baby as a part of each session. We’ve had 5 one on one sessions so far and the most important lessons have been the understanding and training my husband and I are getting! Each of the trainers have been amazing to work with and Nugget has improved so much! Looking forward to the group sessions next! Thank you Sit Means Sit for taking a chance on us!
