Sit Means Sit of Orange County specializes in dog and puppy training for the real world. Our experienced staff works well with dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds and temperaments. Our goal for our clients is to have happy obedient dogs with on and off leash control around severe distractions.

In all our obedience programs we teach the basic commands like come, sit, place, etc. We will also work with your dog on things like car manners, loose leash and off leash walking, and furniture rules. Additionally, we teach how to stop nuisance behaviors like jumping, digging, and biting.

A premier program. In this program, your dog will stay in the care of our staff at our training facility. During their stay, your dog will be training daily with our professional dog trainers. Your dog will quickly learn the commands we teach in the Obedience Training Program.
Group classesProgram details
Our Group Training Program is unlimited for the life of your dog. Clients must first train in the Private Lessons Program or a Board and Train Program before being graduated to Group Training. Once ready, clients can come to as many group classes as they want for the life or their dog.

We had an excellent experience with Sit Means Sit Dog Training, and our expectations were truly exceeded. Our dog is a very large 10 month rescue. We enrolled him in Board and Train for about a week. The trainers worked closely with our dog and gave us the tools and confidence we needed for a fun and manageable dog. We are incredibly happy with his progress and overall training.
He now walks off leash, can be around other people and animals with minimal reactions, and listens reliably to his recall. I've always wanted a dog that I could trust to be off leash. The difference in his behavior and our ability to communicate with him has been amazing.
Our only ongoing challenge is his separation anxiety. While this wasn’t something they could fully resolve, the trainers were honest, supportive, and provided helpful tips and suggestions. We understand this behavior takes time, patience, and consistency, and we appreciate that they continue to offer support as we work through it.
Overall, we highly recommend Sit Means Sit. Honestly, we get a lot of people who notice our dogs good behavior and ask about his training. I always tell them that I work with him daily, and Sit Means Sit gave us the tools we needed.
The trainers are knowledgeable, professional, and truly care about both the dogs and their owners. We are so grateful for everything they’ve done for us and our dog. 🐾

It was great that Bryan was able to send us update videos of our dog being worked on and how the progress was being made. Leading up to picking up our dog Yuna and doing the training process in person. For just 10 days the amount of progress she has made has been great! The staff were great and very nice and welcoming! We felt like we left our dog in great hands and not having to worry about her since we got update on her training progress as well as seeing her physical state.

If you want your dog to be good, these guys will deliver. Our dog was barking at the door, pulling on leash, jumping, etc. -- after a week with SMS, all of that behavior has stopped. Totally worth the price. Thank you Daniel and SMS team!

Daniel is absolutely amazing as a dog trainer and human being. This was my third lesson and I met him for the first time and let me just say my dog Banks is a different dog on a leash now and I have not seen someone so kind, attentive, caring, and supportive with my dog like Daniel was. I now am asking for Daniel specifically.
