I do not recommend Sit Means Sit. My 10 month old pit boxer puppy is difficult, he jumps and nips. Our 1st appointment was done in the street a very unsafe condition with cars driving past and there are no sidewalks. There is dog feces everywhere in their front yard. The appointment was with Bobby and it was a struggle, Bobby said we may need a muzzle but never instructed me to purchase one. My puppy seemed even more aggressive and agitated after the 1st appointment. We arrived for a 2nd appointment to be met with hostility by Kerry and her other trainer over the muzzle. I had spoke to the scheduler the day before and she never mentioned the muzzle. An email had been sent the day before that I had not opened. What should have been a minor issue was blown out of proportion and handled very rudely. They only refunded part of my $800 and treated me very disrespectfully.
Bobby is an awesome trainer! He truly loves our dog and believes in him. Bobby has also helped me become a more confident dog owner, which is pretty much as important as training the dog. Our pup has made great strides since starting with Sit Means Sit and he continues to improve. I highly recommend Bobby!

My wife and I brought our two dogs (husky and a pitbull) to Sit means Sit because our husky was well, being a husky. He was being very pushy and had some listening problems. Our pitbull on the other hand was not a fan of people coming into our house even if he had met them before. It was so bad that we would just keep him in his kennel. It was totally fine but he also hated seeing other dogs on the street. So we took our husky to three training sessions and our pitbull did a board and train. Bobby was our trainer and honestly he did a great job. Our husky has never WANTED to listen more! He walks great on and off leash. Our pitbull came home and had a bit of an adjustment period after being away for a while but it was absolutely the right call. He isn’t bothered by people. He sits in his place and greets them NICELY lol. As for the other dogs we still keep our distance just to be safe but when another dog is walking we bring him to the side make him sit and he just keeps his eyes on us. We couldn’t be happier. It’s been a blast doing the things with the dogs that Bobby has taught us and the dogs just seem to be happier and getting better every day. Great experience.
