Sit Means Sit Dog Training - Toms River

My dog Coal and I just finished the Gold Program and it was easily without a doubt the best investment I have ever made. Coal picked up on the training easily because of his amazing and attentive trainers. Cassidy and Ray have been incredible. Not only is the training legit- they teach you how to use these tools outside of class, especially the use of e collars the correct way. It’s not about correcting it’s about communicating with your dog so you don’t have to correct them and that is through physical communication, verbal and using the e collars properly. If you’re hesitant, I promise you will change your mind after booking a consultation, these guys seriously know what they’re doing. They are thorough not only with the dogs training but the owners. They mean it when they say you have homework, and if you stick to the program and really implement the tools they teach you at home, you will be a very satisfied customer. Again, I could not recommend Ray and his team more. They have made a very positive and forever lasting impact on Coal’s life and wellbeing!

My 9 yr old golden is such a good girl in so many areas but reactive to people and dogs. Gets way too excited for me to hold onto the leash. She just wants to say Hi but never learned how to do it calmly. I was so hesitant to go to Sit Means Sit but thankful we did. Everyone there is wonderful. Owner Ray, trainers Cassidy, Chrissy and Dominic were wonderful and patient and caring 5 weeks of one on one and I can’t wait to start group classes. Consistency is what makes your dog successful!! We had an amazing experience at Sit Means Sit! I attended classes with my mom with both of our dogs. Our classes were once a week for five weeks and at the end of the day when we were to pick them up, we had a 1 hour training session one on one. We had two Dobermans who were both 3 years old with basic training prior to attending classes. We definitely noticed a big difference with focus and following directions. Of course practice makes perfect so with all the techniques we know, we look forward to seeing more progress after our dogs graduated. All the staff/trainers were so helpful and kind and especially patient when/if a new technique confused us and even showed us a different way to complete the technique of one way was confusing.

Everyone at Sit Means Sit is absolutely incredible! From the moment we walked in my dog Tyson and I were met with so much kindness, understanding and patience from each and every one of the staff members. I have to give a special shout out and thank you to Krissy! She is such an incredible person and trainer. She truly transformed both mine and Tyson’s lives. I am forever grateful for Sit Means Sit and their entire staff. Thank you for all you’ve done for me and Tyson and the rest of the doggos and owners you help!!!!
