Where do your training lessons take place?

One of our biggest training philosophies is tackling any training issue at the root of the problem, which is usually away from the home under distracting environments. That being said, we encourage both private and group training sessions at our facility or in a public setting that we refer to as “field trips”! If there are specific issues at your home, we offer lessons there to tackle those specific issues. If you have more questions about our programs, give us a call or fill out the form on our website.

Does it cost money to meet with you all to see if you would be able to train my dog?

We offer a completely free consultation in order for us to get to know you, your dog, and training goals. From there, we will recommend the package that would be best! What are prices? To do this

Sometimes they do have a coupon in the clipper flyer. Prices vary depending on the package. A couple hundred to a thousand dollars. I had a very aggressive dog and he did wonderful with Sit Means Sit.

Justin and Jordan worked with our 8 year old dog. We were hesitant to send her due to her being much older than the typical dog being trained. Even after the first session, we noticed major improvements with her behavior right off the bat. You definitely need to work with your dog at home though, and be consistent to reinforce what was taught at the training sessions. We would definitely recommend sit means sit for any dog at any age, with any behavioral issues.

Sit Means Sit is absolutely incredible. From our initial consultation, David, the owner, made us feel so welcome and comfortable, setting the tone for a fantastic experience. Elly worked closely with Roscoe, addressing his fear-based behaviors, leash reactivity, and struggles in new situations, while helping him build confidence and trust. She also gave us the tools to continue reinforcing everything outside of training. Her patience, expertise, and genuine love for dogs shine through in every session. The transformation has been amazing — Roscoe is calmer, more focused, and is becoming more confident navigating the world while still keeping his cute, playful personality. The team has been supportive and encouraging every step of the way. We’re so grateful for everything they’ve done and can’t recommend them enough!

I am extremely satisfied with the training that my dog Carmella received at Sit Means Sit. From the moment I brought her in for her initial evaluation I was impressed with the professionalism of the owner and his obvious passion for providing the best training methods possible. I received multiple videos of her learning and practicing new skills during each lesson, which better prepared me for my own lessons upon arrival. I was given excellent instruction from each of the trainers when it was my turn to work with Carmella on the skills she learned during the day. The explanations of what was worked on in class along with the videos made me much more confident when working with her at home. The trainers even checked in with me during the week to see how Carmella was progressing with her at home training. We are planning to continue training so that she can become a therapy dog and Sit Means Sit has been an excellent investment to assist with achieving our goals-worth every penny! I would highly recommend them!
