Sit Means Sit Dog Training Pueblo

After our third or fourth visit to sit means sit pueblo at their current location as well several at the previous location, we decided we will not be back. Please know if your pup has a specific 12 hour med schedule, this will not be followed...per multiple conversations with staff during this stay. Picking up our dog with epilepsy after a 2 night stay, it was immediately evident she had had a seizure and the staff was unaware. The facility is fine for most dogs, however for special needs dogs, this is not the place.

I had an awful experience at Sit Means Sit Dog Training today, and I would never recommend them. I was extremely disturbed by the training methods I witnessed. The repeated use of electronic collars made me very uncomfortable, and in my opinion, some of the dogs were being shocked in a way that seemed excessive and unnecessary. Watching the dogs react was upsetting. Because of what I personally experienced today, I am in the process of filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. If you’re considering this company, I strongly encourage you to ask questions about their training methods and decide for yourself whether they align with how you want your dog to be treated.

Took my dog there for grooming. He always came back to me still wet and within two weeks looked like he needed grooming again. He was also always afraid to go there— figured he was afraid of the groomer until I started taking him to his new one.. Which at the moment has been 8 weeks since he’s been to this groomer and he still doesn’t look like he needs groomed. Oh and he’s always dry when I pick him up from this groomer.
