How do you provide feedback and updates on my dog's progress?
Thanks Whitney for asking. For our private lessons we provide at the end of each lesson a sheet of new “homework” for you to take and focus on. This allows you to make progress and keep you focused on your goals. For our immersive programs we provide two videos of progress to keep you involved and in the know about how we are progressing towards your training goals.

Matthew worked wonders, after just three visits, my rescue pup showed incredible improvement. I've tried alot of things but nothing worked like this training. Plus Matthew is great to work with and makes sure both the owner and your furry loved one understand what you're doing and why

Our adult Treeing Walker Coonhound rescue was in need of a little "structure" as Matt explained. She was uninterested in the more traditional training we were able to manage with her another friend we rescued as a puppy. Her not answering to basic commands was beginning to frighten! At our wits end we found Matt and in rather short period of time he has helped us to communicate with her better than we could have ever known. We are so grateful to Matt who accepted the challenge for our coonhound has a very rough history. She is still learning though the progress so far is beyond expectation! Thank you Matt for your keen insight. You are a great teacher to people and their pets!!

Our experience with Matt was great! He's a charismatic guy and it's easy to tell that he actually cares and takes training from a very practical standpoint. We started training with an 11-week-old Bernese. We fell down a research hole on training and online reviews which led us to be apprehensive on Sit Means Sit. There were a couple bad reviews from *other* franchises. I'm glad we took the free consultation because it cleared up all of the gray area and concerns that we had. If you're in the same boat, I'd definitely recommend the consultation and see how you feel after that. The concerns from one or two other Sit Means Sit franchises in other states turned out to not be how Matt runs his program. We were extremely comfortable with the training after the initial consultation and through the training sessions. Matt also helped us to iron out anything and everything we were having trouble with as we went through the program with adjusted approaches. The main feature of the puppy training was training us. He puts things in very simple explanations that helped us get things right early and understand the thought process of the dog while acting in a manner that promoted good behaviors. Matt made the whole process a pleasure, got us out of puppy blues and pushed all of us into being a happy little family. I'd go back to him time and time again.
