FirstBarkMatt is a great trainer. We worked with him when our rescue puppy was about 6.5 months old, and at 9 months, he's a new dog. Matt is clear, concise, and almost always available for you to reach him with questions or concerns. Highly recommend.

How do you provide feedback and updates on my dog's progress?
Thanks Whitney for asking. For our private lessons we provide at the end of each lesson a sheet of new “homework” for you to take and focus on. This allows you to make progress and keep you focused on your goals. For our immersive programs we provide two videos of progress to keep you involved and in the know about how we are progressing towards your training goals.

Matt helped us tremendously with our new labradoodle Max. Very professional yet down to earth and realistic with his expectations. He teaches but you need to do the homework. It’s been 3 years now and we have the best behaved dog ever.
The 4 week puppy program with Matt was a great initial training for our 4 month old puppy. We completed the course over the summer and saw significant improvements with our puppy by also putting in the work after our meetings. Would definitely recommend.
Worth every penny! This was the right choice for us and our dog. Matt was great. He is very to the point and matter of fact which I loved. He gave us all the tools to have a well behaved dog, one that is obedient and playful. Thankful and grateful for his time and experience. If I had to do it again this would be my first choice and only choice.
