Our most popular option is our Board and Train program. Your dog will stay with us for a minimum of two weeks, where our trainers will work with them daily to fast track your dog's training.

Taking Mayzie to Sit Means sit was the best decision we made for our family! We knew we wanted to be able to enjoy her and take her places with us but didn’t know how to train her with those skills she needed. On the first day we met Selena who was very informative and left us leaving Mayzie knowing she was in good hands. Selena sent us photos and video updates through out the week. She was so patient with us during our training and literally walked us through step by step until we became comfortable and familiar with the commands. Her calm, confident and professional mannerism made this a successful experience. Mayzie is a different pup thanks to Selena!

Dave was patient and kind to my dog. He was informative and very helpful. I learned so much to help my dog overcome his fears and at times aggressive behavior. In truth, Dave trained ME to train my puppy, Elwood.
As a result, he’s a very smart and well behaved 8 month old, although I’m planning to sign up for lifetime lessons, because there are challenges at every age and we both need the reinforcement.
Bottom line? Sit Means Sit offers a wonderful service and while I’m hoping Dave will still be our trainer when we return (Dave is AWESOME), I’m confident we’ll still have a good experience.

My dog Moose benefitted tremendously from his two week board and train program with trainer Dave. Moose was very wary of strangers but Dave was able to build trust and confidence with him, which enabled Moose to have success in the training program. Moose had a lot of anxiety about strangers and would bark at anyone he did not know, did not walk politely on a leash, and struggled with recall. He is so much calmer now! Immediately after picking him up from training, we went to an outdoor restaurant and Moose laid on his “place” (a towel I brought with me) and did not bark at the wait staff or the stray cats we saw while walking back to the car, and he walked on a loose leash. Before this, taking him to a restaurant was a stressful experience as he was anxious and defensive towards anyone he didn’t know. During the two week period, Dave sent daily text updates as well as a few video updates so I could see Moose’s progress throughout. I am really glad to have chosen this training program for Moose!

Selena helped with our dog Journey a lot! He struggled with reactivity and a lot of distractions and we were able to make so much progress from just a few training sessions. Selena gave us the skills to be able to continue training him ourselves and we are so grateful for her!
