Sit Means Sit Dog Training Metroplex East

We couldn’t be happier with the results from Sit Means Sit Mextroplex East Texas. We brought our new golden retriever puppy, Cooper, to the team when he was just 16 weeks old. This was right after his final set of shots so this was his very first experience out in public and around other dogs. We enrolled him in the 3-day Day Training program, and it exceeded our expectations. The entire team: JP, Diana, Cody, and Aumari was fantastic. Cooper is a quick learner, but we were still amazed at his progress. By the end of the first day, he was already heeling off-leash, even with distractions inside the facility. Overall, it was an outstanding experience. The facility is spotless, the staff is incredibly professional and caring, and the results speak for themselves. We’re now really looking forward to the group training sessions. I would highly recommend Sit Means Sit to anyone with a dog of any breed or age.

This place has been God sent! I have an American Akita (female) and she was always behaving on her time. She knew her commands but only followed on her terms. We did the 10 day boarding school and omg! The results were night and day! Never in my 3 years of me having her could I have her off leash. The weekend that I got her back we went on a 1 hour walk completely off leash! Thank you to these amazing people!! Will definitely be a customer for life!

Sit means sit has been nothing short of amazing. We originally found ourselves looking for training due to him continuously trying to eat clothing and terrorizing our cats. He also struggled to listen and showed little to no impulse control with distractions. Previously, we were doing treat training him, but found as soon as the food was put away; he stopped listening and became defiant. After the free consult, we decided on the day training plus option. Oliver was hesitant at first, and as a concerned dog mom I spoke up. The entire staff was warm, welcoming, and gave me extra reassurance that this was the correct decision. They took extra time with me, and walked me through many of their training techniques. They went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable, and Oliver was getting what he needed. By day 2, Ollie was excited to be there and ready to learn. He has come SO far. Now, we have a dog that responds to commands including a more reliable recall, door manners, and learned impulse control. He has so much more confidence, and still loves to be a puppy with boundaries now. I highly recommend this team as they are intuitive, compassionate and just overall good at what they do. Their own dogs have been trained in the same way, and that should provide reassurance to anyone thinking about doing the same training.
