We began going to Sit Means Sit in early 2021, when our first puppy needed some extra training as she is a high energy dog that would constantly pull on the leash among many other bad habits like chasing cars! Through their day camps, group classes, and incredible team, we have two well trained dogs that help make life easier. We have been able to take them out into crowds without fear of what will happen and we get compliments on how well behaved our dogs are. You would never be able to tell that one of our dogs are reactive and it is all thanks to Sit Means Sit. You can see the passion each team member has working at Sit Means Sit and they listen to your needs, providing guidance, advice, and exercises to help reach your goal. They want to help make the best of your dog's life and yours because nothing is better than having a well trained dog and be able to live your life fully with them by your side. This is truly a great place that will help train your dogs!

My friend recommended “Sit Means Sit” to my partner and me, and since her dog is so well-behaved, we trusted her word. We took our dog, Honey, in at only a few months old because we wanted to start her training super young. We did pay for the 6 private lessons package, and although it is a big investment, I would say it was worth every penny. Our friends, family, walkers, and even strangers are all so impressed by Honey’s behavior at 6 months old. We continue to get complimented on her discipline at her age, and we really gotta thank “Sit Means Sit” for that. A special shout out to Cat and Nikita for providing our Honey such great care, kindness, and training. Your expertise was truly amazing to see. Additional note: my wife & I are in a same-sex relationship and that can always cause you to have your guard up in a new place. But this company was nothing but kind and respectful, we were treated just like everyone else. Even the trainers would say “Honey is happy to see her moms” and that small thing brought us such comfort & a sense of acceptance. Thank you!

The trainers at Sit Means Sit are phenomenal. I adopted a young dog from a rescue that was such a handful. I had never had a dog that is both very smart and with so much manic energy. I felt pretty hopeless and was feeling that I was not the owner for him. I decided to try training as my last resort before returning him to the rescue. That was the best decision I made! They showed me that he.. and, more importantly ME are definitely trainable. They have changed life with my dog for the better and I can’t thank them enough. Cat was so patient with me and him and this training was worth every penny. If you are on the fence if they can help you, for the sake of yourself and your dog, I can tell you from experience, they CAN. You won’t be disappointed.

We had such an amazing experience with sit means sit. Our trainer was so nice and very informative with things we were struggling to do. Not only that but we saw a change in our puppy by day 1. For instance, my mom watches my cousins son and the day before we came to sit means sit she jumped on him and he fell. After the first day of training our dog learned to leave the child alone and now she actually will play with him without being overly excited, and when she knows she is being over excited will place herself to regroup. Overall I love how they helped us with the basics and getting away from distractions. I could actually walk my dog and not be afraid of her running and barking at other dogs. Even though she has a little ways to go they are very helpful with tips and ideas if I need any at any time. Overall I had a fantastic experience.
