FirstBarkJon, Judson & Ashley were all excellent communicators! We have a 10-month old Great Pyrenees and if you know the breed they are stubborn, but smart. How long have you been around?
We have been providing professional dog training in Lakewood, Littleton, Morrison, and surrounding Colorado areas since 2009. Our head trainer has been with the Sit Means Sit company since 2006 and has been around dogs his entire life.

I highly recommend Sit Means Sit South for not only dog training but dog boarding. They are truly professional and amazing when it comes to working dogs.

We got our puppy 1:1 training lessons at Sit Means Sit. In the span of about 6 weeks, with Judson and Blaine's guidance our 7 month old puppy had noticeable gains in obedience that have a huge impact on our day to day with him. What I really liked about their approach was that you can tell these people LOVE dogs and understand them to a higher degree than most "dog people" do. Their suggestions were helpful and easy to action. We were apprehensive at first about the E-collar use, but the Sit Means Sit approach makes total sense to use it as a reinforcement tool and NEVER a punishment. Our puppy could not have made as much progress without it and now I am a firm believer in E-collar training - it gives you results at a much faster speed than any other method. We'll definitely take advantage of the lifetime monthly refresher lessons. I will say the up front price felt steep, but we are already feeling the return on investment and will continue to receive it over time. Being that Sit Means Sit is a franchise, each location is independent and while there is some mixed sentiment online about certain locations, I will confidently say none of it applies to this location and I would 100% entrust them with my dog. The training program may work well for some dogs, but it was not a good fit for ours. We clearly communicated our goals for the training, yet we felt our concerns were not addressed. After signing the agreement and making payment, follow‑up communication ceased; we received no calls when we missed a session, and no outreach regarding the remaining three sessions. During the first week, the collar broke, and it took over a week to receive a replacement, causing a setback in our training schedule, The service seemed more focused on the payment than on meeting our needs. By the end of the first session, it was evident that the program was unsuitable for our dog. We advise prospective clients to be cautious: the company tends to promise results that may not align with reality. Remember, pets are family members, and training should be tailored to both the animal and the owner’s expectations
