Sit Means Sit Dog Training Licking Valley

We recently took our almost 5-year-old Saint Bernard, Blaze, to this training program and had an absolutely amazing experience. From the very beginning, the owners were fantastic—they took the time to explain everything in detail, including what Blaze’s day would look like and exactly what we could expect throughout the process. What really stood out to me was their patience—not just with Blaze, but with me as his owner. They helped me work through my own nerves about stepping into a more confident leadership role with him. I’ve always let Blaze do his own thing, so learning how to properly guide him was a big adjustment. They made that transition feel comfortable and achievable. They truly listened to all of our concerns and addressed each one immediately and professionally. At no point did I feel judged—only supported and encouraged. The entire experience was positive, educational, and empowering. If you’re on the fence or feeling nervous like I was, don’t be. This team is knowledgeable, kind, and genuinely cares about both you and your dog’s success. Highly recommend!

This was the most wonderful, amazing experience, from the first visit to the last!! From the first visit the knowledge they had about my pup without me even saying anything to them, like from being taken away from her mom to soon, etc. was amazing, just made me feel such at ease while they were training her. Even from picking her up that first time, it was a new obedient, calm puppy. It was a concern of ours with her hyperactive behavior, family was even uneasy with her at times, now she just so calm and walks are so our favorite now. We can’t say enough good things about all they did for our sweet girl!! Highly recommend!!!!!

Our Charlotte was a nervous Nellie at first. She would have accidents in our house, pull when we would take her for a walk, run off into other yards, bark when people would try to enter our house an not go into the basement. We knew she had an abusive past before us but we also wanted her to be a happy, relaxed dog in our home. We contacted Sit Means Sit and were able to connect with Erica and Rick who answered questions over the phone and even gave us some tips prior to even meeting Charlotte. They were very informative starting from day one and even were able to get her scheduled right away for their 3 day training course! Right away they were able to see how sweet Charlotte was but also her potential to learn and be an even better dog. As they worked with her and us she grew confidence and trust in us. We started noticing positive changes pretty quickly after even her first session and it did nothing but grow from there. Alls they asked in return that we put in the consistency and as much work as as Charlotte was trying to learn. Since her graduation we have been able to walk without her on a leash, we feel confident taking her to other homes and know she will behave and listen, and she no longer jumps up on people when she is excited. Though she still has some learning and growing to do, she has come a long way and appears to be more relaxed an overall a happier girl. We love that we get life long support for Charlotte as well.
