Mike is a phenomenal trainer. He’s great because he cares for the families of the pups and the pups themselves. He’s got a genuine passion to help and it’s because of this that we can finally enjoy our time as a family with our pup. He had set the bar high from the start and I wasn’t sure he would be able to get the results he said he would but like many times before I found myself saying 3 words I’m familiar with: I. Was. Wrong. Cannot recommend Mike enough!

We just completed our 5th session with our 7 month old golden doodle. We have been very pleased with Mike and his training regiment. He does a great job of explaining techniques, commands and the psychology behind them. We practice the training at home in between sessions and have seen progress with our dog at every step. Mike makes himself available between sessions when we had questions or hit roadblocks while training at home. His scheduling is flexible and is great for busy families that need help getting their dog trained.

I had an excellent experience with Mike! His training sessions were incredibly effective, and he took the time to explain everything thoroughly, always backing it up with clear reasoning. His approach was thoughtful, patient, and tailored to my dog’s specific needs. I really appreciated how knowledgeable and professional he was throughout the process. He is not a trainer that looks at the clock, he ensures that both my dog and I understand the assignment before he dismisses us for the day. My dog has made amazing progress, and I feel much more confident as an owner thanks to his guidance. Highly recommend!

Mike does an amazing job with the dogs he trains! He is very to the point and you know exactly what you are getting out of the training. He also always has open communication and is readily available to answer any questions/concerns you may have. I had issues with my dog’s barking and aggression. Now she knows how to stay in place, stops barking immediately, can go out to public events/restaurants and listens very well to the commands given! If you need dog training, I highly recommend going to see Mike!

We have been using Mike at Sit Means Sit to help train our two mixed breed rescue dogs and couldn't be more thrilled with the progress they've made. We spoke with him at the beginning to discuss what we most wanted to work on and he built our sessions around that. We've been to dog training classes before, but the additional personalization and attention that comes from having someone come to our home has been far more beneficial for us and the dogs. Very highly recommend.
