Yes, we have group classes for those who have completed a SMS training program. These classes help you to continue and follow through on your dog’s training. Also, our Group Classes are a great way to socialize your dog.

Yes, they do. Once you complete the basics you go to group class so your dog so do speak gets used to different experiences, people, other dogs, and still have a successful life around every day life situations. It is amazing, and it's right on where your dog's needs are worked on (not individually necessarily) along with the others in the class. You can ask questions and review the videos on your individual dog train. It's really good!
How do you train a dog not to be aggressive to other dogs
Yes, my dog was very reactive to people and dogs. He still is to some degree but SMS has helped a GREAT deal and given excellent insight on how do deal in different situations. Keep in mind that this is continuous process; does not get resolved overnight. They worked on other issues as well at the same time. I would highly recommend them.

The entire team at Sit means Sit have been awesome to deal with but Alex is our trainer and he does a great job! He gives us detailed instructions and really takes the time to help us understand how to help train this energized Portie.

Marty has made an incredible difference for us and our dog. Raven is still a puppy though she’s 21 months and has exhibited typical puppy behaviors. We tried Pet Smart without much success and decided to try SMS. What an amazing experience. Raven was a different, much more well-behaved dog after one session. At the end of the program, she’s a totally different dog. She listens, sits and places on command, walks with us and heels. I think she’s happier and so are we. Thank you, Marty! Know that everyone at SMS is positive, warm and loving to all the dogs there. I could not recommend them more highly. If you do your homework with the dog, your dog will be the dog you’ve always wanted.

We started training for our boxer back in September and couldn’t have been more surprised at how much we ALL learned. Alex was super patient and was very thorough throughout the 5 weeks of training. We couldn’t be happier with our experience. Although we are very happy with where Jasper is, we are hopeful to see how far he goes in the next year with the group classes you offer.
Since completing the initial training, we have had him go one day a week to doggy day camp to have some play time with other dogs and also get some extra time keeping up with the training. It has made a big difference, especially since we haven’t been able to go to as many group classes recently.
Although we have a little bias towards Alex because we started with him, everyone who we have met and has worked with our boy during day camp has been amazing. It’s nice to know we are leaving him in good hands during the day. The pictures and report cards are so great to look at. He loves it there. We are so thankful for you all.

Our mini labradoodle Raven was not as successful as we would have liked in the Pet Smart training program, so, on the recommendations of friends, we contacted Sit Means Sit. After the initial consult, we decided this program would be a better fit. And we were right! We saw a huge difference in her behavior after just the first session.
Marty is absolutely an amazing trainer, and Raven is now an amazing dog. Before, she wasn't great at following commands, but now she listens and does what we ask. The training collar is used for encouragement, not punishment, and she now responds well to our commands. We learned valuable training techniques and love the results.
Marty, we can't thank you enough! You are an amazing trainer, and Raven obviously loves you!
