Yes, we have group classes for those who have completed a SMS training program. These classes help you to continue and follow through on your dog’s training. Also, our Group Classes are a great way to socialize your dog.

Yes, they do. Once you complete the basics you go to group class so your dog so do speak gets used to different experiences, people, other dogs, and still have a successful life around every day life situations. It is amazing, and it's right on where your dog's needs are worked on (not individually necessarily) along with the others in the class. You can ask questions and review the videos on your individual dog train. It's really good!
How do you train a dog not to be aggressive to other dogs
Yes, my dog was very reactive to people and dogs. He still is to some degree but SMS has helped a GREAT deal and given excellent insight on how do deal in different situations. Keep in mind that this is continuous process; does not get resolved overnight. They worked on other issues as well at the same time. I would highly recommend them.

My wife and I knew just a few days after bringing our rescue home that we needed to seek out a training program. We had a number of consultations, but nothing felt quite right until we met with Sit Means Sit. We were connected with our trainer, Marty, and right at hello we knew he was the best match for all three of us! Marty not only gave Savannah (Pittie mix) the tools and confidence needed to support her transition into our home and community, but he gave my wife and I such great guidance and education from week to week and was a wonderful listening ear when it came to our challenges and concerns.
Curious about the commute? Our drive to Sit Means Sit Frederick is typically an hour and 20 minutes one way on a good day and it was WORTH EVERY MOMENT in DMV traffic! To have Savannah go into their building excitedly each week, to watch her connection with Marty blossom, and to have her be welcomed by the amazing staff will have us returning weekly for group classes, the day program, and grooming services! We found not just a training program here, but a support system! Don’t hesitate to expand your pup’s village here!

The SMS facility is a great training area. Marty was a fantastic trainer. The difference in behavior from week 1 to week 5 was unbelievable. My dog now walks great on a leash, sits, heals and has recall. It’s exactly what I was looking for in a program.

This program is amazing! The difference between when we started the individual lessons and the last individual lesson was night and day(5 day program). Our trainer Alex K was excellent!!! Our dog Dozer was always excited to go to training and spend one on one time with Alex.
When we started, our dog was always pulling on walks and lunging towards other dogs it was quite the workout being an 80lb dog. Now the walks are so calm and enjoyable Thanks to Alex and Sit Means Sit! I highly recommend!!

Can’t stress enough how much help Rosemary, our trainer, has been during our training program! Our pup, Miguel has improved so much since we first brought him in! We’re so happy with his growth and can’t wait to go to group classes! Here’s our baby on his graduation day!
