My dog Cora had trained with two other dog trainers before I found Sit Means Sit, and neither had been effective. She is a very friendly dog but has been described as a "frustrated greeter". Her behavior had been so bad that I couldn't take her to any dog friendly store or even go for walks because she would become overly excited. I decided to give training one last try. I met with Mindy for the consultation, and after witnessing my dog's poor behavior, she said she was confident her team could help fix Cora's behavior. I was skeptical at first, after all, this was our third attempt at training, but we decided to give them a try. I'm truly amazed at how incredibly effective their training has been. I've been able to take my dog to stores, and we now go on walks almost every day without her pulling me down the street. She's also much better at controlling herself in stressful situations. Kelsey was her main trainer during our 4 days of private lessons, but we've now also worked with Penny and Mindy at group class, and they've all been fantastic. Cora gets so excited to see them! We've now been attending the group classes for over a month, and she gets better each time. It had been my goal to take Cora to places with me since I got her 3 years ago, and now I get to do that. I'm so glad I found Sit Means Sit and gave them a chance.
