I have a 5 month old hound/pit mix. We did the free consultation and loved it. My pup will be starting school soon! He will learn to be a help to me as I am disabled. (Not a service dog training facility) I just want him to be able to help me out here and there. So excited!

What to do about a lovable German Shepherd mix rescue dog who had pulled me down THREE times (trying to chase cats)?
Life was fairly simple when Agatha had her own backyard, but when we moved to an apartment, I knew that if I didn’t find a solution I was either going to have a serious injury or a lawsuit. Sit Means Sit was able to schedule an evaluation within a week, and we were even able to start training the following day! After just one day of training, the difference was amazing! Was this really MY crazy dog?
Both Wes and River are skilled expert trainers. They have specifically worked on the behaviors that were my biggest concerns. They not only worked well with Agatha, but they answered every question (even the ones I texted to them) thoroughly and in a way that didn’t make me feel stupid. And, if I needed a “refresher,” I could watch the videos.
I am extremely pleased with the Agatha’s progress after just two full-day sessions. I give my dog a quality food. She had heart worms (when rescued), and we got that cleared up. I view this training as just another way that I am trying to give Agatha her best life ever. Not being able to effectively communicate my needs for her behavior was as frustrating and upsetting to her as it was to me. Thank you Wes and River for helping both Agatha and me!

My puppy made great improvements and I was given great skills and advice on how to get her started in the direction of behavior that would fit my life. But training a dog is not for the weak. It is 100 percent successful on the owners dedication to putting in the work. That been said Sit means sit has an environment dedicated to the success of the owner's training. YES owner's training as in youbare the one that is doing the homework and changing your behavior for the success of your dog.
