Sit Means Sit is fantastic! I found Eddy as a stray pup, and before I introduced him to my other 2 pups, I needed a trainer to work with him. I’ve never owned a stray off the street, so I was overwhelmed. Mike and Leslie are fantastic! They helped give Eddy structure, and healthy boundaries. They helped me get comfortable with giving him rules, and being consistent. Eddy is the sweetest pup, and has adjusted so well to life with 2 other dogs. I couldnt own 3 pups without Sit Means Sits’s help. I love that they also have boarding. Theyre familiar with Eddy, so there wont be issues. So glad I found them!!

I don't understand how anyone could think using a shock collar is 'loving' or even humane. We adopted a puppy that was put through this training (I was given the paperwork showing $1795 was paid for it) and she cowers and tries to hide when using common cues or hand signals. I don't understand how anyone could think using a shock collar is 'loving' or even humane. We adopted a puppy that was put through this training (I was given the paperwork showing $1795 was paid for it) and she cowers and tries to hide when using common cues or hand signals. We've started on positive training (which we've done before with our 2 other dogs who became CGC certified) and she is thriving, however, we're having to use odd cue names and hand signals since the most common ones used by this place causes a fear reaction which really slows progress. The shock collar went into the trash.
Love it here. Mike and Leslie helped me with our German shepherd puppy. Do what they tell you to do and you will see results. I can not say enough positive things about them. Any issues we had they addressed right away and taught us how to correct him. Now we understand and know how to handle our puppy.
