Do you offer training for a week to drop off dog at your location?
Hello Michael, thanks for reaching out! It sounds like you're describing a board & train program which we no longer offer. We have switched over to a day training model which is still immersive like boarding programs but are only 1 day a week for a number of weeks and you have a lesson with your dog at the end of the day training. We have found that day training is a very effective training format to not only fully train your dog, but gives us the opportunity to make sure that owners have all the tools they need to continue with training management, ultimately providing long lasting and reliable results. Sit means sit has been a godsend for us and our 18 month old Great Dane! Jasper is deaf and partially sight impaired, so training him has been challenging for us. He was jumping, stealing and anxious walking on leash. We tried other classes that were food motivated which Jasper is not. The e-collar is excellent for getting your dogs attention and focus. It has such range that gave us the confidence to deal with any situation in any environment. Jim and Doug were excellent working with Jasper. They were very clear in explaining to us what we needed to do at home to instill what was worked on in each session. We purchased the top package for lifetime support. While we were hesitant at first, it was money well spent and would recommend to anyone that needs help. There was no hesitation to take on Jasper with his disabilities. We could see results almost immediately and Doug and Jim were eager to answer and offer remedies for whatever problems we were having. They helped train us and Jasper so we can give him his best life. We look forward to some group classes in the near future and helping his socialization and confidence grow as he grows. Wow! I have a totally new dog! Highly recommend! Worth the cost hands down. Kylie and Douglas were great with my dog and explained everything well to us. The email and text notifications were very helpful. I was initially worried about using a training collar for my dog because my veterinarian said it would make him more anxious.... but instead, the training calmed him down! He acts much happier, doesn't jump on house guests, doesn't bark at other dogs, etc. AMAZING! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
My wife & I were pleased with the end results of the training for our 4 year old Springer. We had Jim as our dog trainer and would recommend him. We wanted to address leash pulling and train him to ignore distractions out in public areas. We feel much more confident taking him wherever thanks to Sit Means Sit!

From the very first session, it was clear that the trainer, Kylie and Jim, at Sit Means Sit are highly skilled and dedicated to helping both dogs and owners succeed. Their approach is positive and consistent. The training methods they use are both effective and easy to follow, and super easy to work on at home. I was a little nervous about the collar approach but it has worked out great and Roscoe has become much more attentive. What I really appreciated is the supportive environment they create, both in class and during private lessons. The trainers are patient, encouraging, and always available to answer any questions or concerns. They came recommended to us and I would highly recommend them as well!!!!
